Shearwater is an 82-foot vintage 1920's schooner built at the height of the Roaring Twenties as the personal yacht of Charles E. Dunlap, a prominent New York City industrialist, back in a time when yachting was a rare combination of elegance and adventure. Shearwater was recognized as a national landmark in March 2009. Rangoon teak decks and mahogany paneled staterooms below are sure to impress even the seasoned yachtsmen. |

Cancellation policy:
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
Public Sails
In the event of a cancellation by the Captain of the Clipper City or Shearwater due to severe weather conditions or mechanical failure, customers will be rescheduled at no additional fee. Refunds are not offered.
If you wish to reschedule your sail, the following policy applies:
- There will be a $10.00 per passenger surcharge required for any reschedule within the following time periods:
- 1 to 10 people - Within 48 hours
- 11 to 30 people - Within a week, no reschedule accepted within two days
- 31 people and up - Within 2 weeks, no reschedule accepted within one week
If you wish to cancel your reservations, refunds are not offered. | |
